Course Update

The above seasonal temperatures this past week have allowed the Grounds Department to see more and more of the golf course each day. A large majority of the golf course is snow free, however areas protected from direct sunlight still remain covered. Snow blowing will take place next week to speed up the melting process in these areas. From what I've seen of the areas that have lost snow cover things look good. Mother Nature may have blessed us with a good wintering and potentially lead to early favourable conditions. Time will tell. It is still too early to forecast an opening, but Grounds Staff continues to work diligently to remove snow from around the clubhouse and driving range area. Stay tuned to this blog or the River Bend Golf & Recreation Area website for updates on driving range opening.
